Thank you very much - wonderful Jochum! Do you plan to upload some of the Konwitschny recordings on Weitblick, such as his Brahms? That would be wonderful if you could!
I have ordered some Weitblick today but unfortunately Konwitschny was not included. I know Berlin Classics had issued some of his performance but I don't know whether there are some editions same as Weitblick. BTW, I know Weitblick is a German label but it seems that it was only sold in Japan. Do you know how could I buy it online in Europe? Cuz Japanese CDs are always expensive...
Oh, I found I have ordered a Supraphon disc which is Beethoven's Violin Concerto performed by Suk and conducted by Konwitschny.I will upload when I get it.
Weitblick issued recordings that weren't on Berlin Classics. The cheapest ones you will find at Berkshire Record Outlet in the USA. Otherwise it seems to be available only in Japan and Hong Kong. The Brahms 4 would be interesting to hear, as well as Elly Ney playing Brahms 2nd concerto (in much better sound than previously published editions). Thank you for the Beethoven Violin Concerto though!
